How can I get on the U.S olympic shooting team?

I've been shooting since I was 8 or 9 years old, and I want to try to get on the U.S Olympic shooting team for the 2012 London Olympics. I did some research on it, but a lot of the information seemed kind of inspecific. So, does anyone have any info or simplified steps on how to get onto the Olympic team. (p.s. I live in Atlanta, GA, and the U.S.A Shooting headquarters and main training center is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado if that helps.)
