How do you do a back flip?

How can i convert my back flip on grass?

  • for some reason, i have my cheerleading try outs out side. (don't ask me why) my teacher again, wanted us to do back tucks. just to make sure we know how to do them. since we do it outside, i have to be able to do a back flip on grass! and i can't do that! we are having a competition december 10th. and i have to be able to know this, cause i do tumbling. my friends come with me to my practices and they will be here THIS TIME! i really want to show them i can do it, but i have no confidence. i about 12 times wrote in my ipad how to do a back tuck, like the steps. i can do it perfectly, on mattress, but when i get to the floor, i suck. please please have some ideas and ways i could get my tuck, i have practice 3 times a week, so i have it monday, wednesday, and friday. how can i learn the tuck in about a week? i have the date we have to know it, on december 7th. are their any ways on how i could get my tuck? and if your a gymnasts could you give me some sayings to learn it? thank you everyone.:D

    It is so much easier than you think. I do gymnastics and am in level 6. All you have to do is tuck heaps and swing your hands. hold you legs and jump really hard. Just do what you do but on the grass. Maybe get a scater mat ( mat) for your first few goes and get spot. I hope this helps
