Winter olympics? How to get tickets?

• How do you get tickets to the 2010 winter olympics in Vancouver? I want to get them ahead of time instead of buying them when I get there. But on the website I found, it shows that the tickets were sold in phases, so I don't even know if I can get them anymore, besides waiting to get them there. Which I don't want to do. So Hows could I get them now? Also please, if you can, provide a number to call. I tried calling the number from the website and I can't get anyone because it's only for Canadian residents :(

You'll have to check it out. There is always the fan to fan marketplace but it is really expensive right now. I would think it will settle out in a little while. Right now it is new so everyone is trying to get top dollar. That's your best bet for tickets that are guaranteed to be authentic. There is always ebay or Craigs list but beware that there is a huge industry in selling counterfeit tickets to the Olympics so you could get screwed if you go elsewhere. Also, everyone selling on the fan to fan site gets to keep their original paper tickets since Vanoc will re-issue the tickets to the buyer and invalidate the seller's tickets' barcode. So even though you have the paper ticket, you never know unless you buy from Vanoc or your country's official supplier.
