How To Run Faster In FIFA 2012?

Iran's 'hijab-kit' breaks FIFA rules and is banned from Olympics 2012 ?

  • World Football - Iran and FIFA clash over hijab kit " Iran's dream of competing in the London 2012 Olympic women's football tournament was crushed by an unexpected ruling that their Islamic dress broke FIFA rules, but football's governing body insisted the country were warned about dress code rules which led to the team being banned. " http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/07062011/58/world-football-iran-fifa-clash-hijab-kit.html Who do these people from Iran think they are ? why can't they for the love of god and all that is sane on this earth, just compete like the rest ? these are the questions that automaticaly registered into my head the moment i saw that news story and read that article. but whats your assessment/view/opinion on FIFA's reaction and decision ? With all due respect to the people of Iran, do they not realise that religion is not something that one needs to go out of their way to represent/express ? especialy in sports of all places ? thank heavens FIFA isn't stupid as well as corrupt then heh

  • Answer:

What's wrong with them wearing hijab? get some perspective people. Similar to how many choose not to wear it, they have the right to wear it. Whether they have been forced by their government or not is a separate matter. If the argue is that religion should not enter the football pitch; has FIFA stopped players wearing crosses? Do they punish those who thank god after they score?! We blame governments for forcing their citizens to do or not to do based on its ideologies, while governments like France or organisations like FIFA do the very same, that is they force all to have no signs of religion.

They chose to wear what they knew would not be legal. They did not wear this last year, and should have known they could not force or embarrass FIFA into violating their rules. Iran has been an outcast and sponsor of terrorism for many years. If they want to return to the real world they will be welcome when they stop trying to convert the world to Islam.

For the FIRST time, in AGES, FIFA is CORRECT! And, you won't hear THAT, from ME, vey often. FIFA are usually, SPINELESS, - in particular, on the issue of CHEATING! If that WASN'T so, the likes of ALEX FERGUSON, *******E WHINGER, et al, would NEED to be DISMISSED, from their posts. Fergusgon, for CORRUPTION/BBRIBERY, (of referees, etc.) - and, WHINGER, for breaking the rules regarding "JOB DESCRIPTIONS". The job description, - after all, - says "MANAGER", - not "WHINGER"! If the Iranian ladies team, are permitted to play, in hijabs, the rest of the World's teams should be permitted to play how THEY wish. But, - with all, due RESPECT, - WHERE will it END?? India's women. in SARIS, - Scots women in KILTS, - Irish women, in HARD HATS, and NAVVY BOOTS?. The WHOLE situation, is FUTILE! If the Iranians, refuse to abide, by the rules, as they stand, - to HELL with the politics, of it, - they MUST be excluded, from the tournament. DON'T blame FIFA, - blame ALLAH!
