Are these track spikes good, and which one is better?

Which track spikes are best for 110m hurdles?

  • Okay, I run the 60m for indoor, which is less important to me than outdoor. For outdoor track (the one that I care about the most) I run the 110m hurdles. Anyway, I can't decide what spikes to get this year. I've narrowed it down to a few options. Asics Japan Lite-Ning (They are the lightest I can find at 4.50z) The Nike Zoom Superfly g5 or g5s whatever it's called. It's heavier, but it has a stiff palat for proper toe position for sprinting. OR the Nike Powercat, which I hear is a lighter, more flexible version of the Superfly g5s. Anyway, judging on my event which is the 110m hurdles, which spikes would be best for me? I don't have enough money to buy more than 1 pair so I can't just try all the options and this year of track is very important to me. So, your answers and suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

  • Answer:

The shoes that fit your feet and feel best to you are the best shoes to get. Most hurdlers use sprint spikes and it does not hurt their performance.

Other answers

I would either choose the superflys or the powercat, I'm a 200 and 400 meter high school sprinter and I would choose one of those
