What would be the best design for the olympics?

Olympics 2012 Logo is the only Bad logo in the history of Olympics?

  • Olympics 2012 logo design, has been in news throughout but all this controversy made me research the earlier Olympics logos. I researched the evolution of Olympics Logos and found many of them were not so good as well. Check here the collection of Olympics logos from 1932-2012 and tell which of these logos really don't deserve to be in this list. http://www.logoblog.org/2012-olympics-logo-evolution/ I did not like 1936 (winter), 1960 (summer) and 1976 (summer) logo from the list. What do you guys say?

    I think they have a contest as to which Olympics can have the worst logo and mascots. Each Games seems to be getting worse, and to think they are paying big money for companies to design this crap.

It's terrible. I also totally agree that 1936 and 1960 are vile! I like Barcelona and Nagano since they're fresh but still express a theme. Sydney and Athens are okay, if a little crunchy, and Athens is kind of obvious.

2012 is the word, looks horrible. Beijing 2008 i didnt like. Wasn't a fan of Munich's 1972. I liked Vancouver's, Nagano's, Sydney's, Albertville's and Seoul.

I do not think it the worst Olympic logo. I do like how they have almost the same Paralympic logo.
