How to you get the chance to compete in snowboard cross at the Olympics?
-
Does the country send scouts to find you? Do you have to be sponsored or something? Or do you just sign up and show up...? Or what?
-
Answer:
You race in amateur races and work your way up the ranks. Then the US Ski and Snowboard sign you and have you race in the pro ranks. Then, after years of racing, the USSA decide who they will take with them to the olympics. Not many are chosen and it takes years of training, but its very possible.
