I Need a List of Horse supplies.

• I'm going to get a horse. I know it's hard work and everything. I haven't ridden in years but I will soon take lessons again with my new horse so we take on the obstacles together. I'm thinking on getting a quarter horse. I owned a paint before though. A long time ago. He sadly past years ago. I was really young then. I don't have my equipment any more so I need a list. I have one in my hand but I need to make sure I got everything. I need to check prices too. Write a list of the supplies thanks How much would You pay? Do you buy online or at a store? If you buy online what is the store called and is it trusted? I'm going to do western or English! not sure yet! Probably start western than go into English I had a paint but I'm looking into any breed what do you prefer? Can you make a list of supplies and the cost! Oh and board how much would you pay? How much for a farrier, vet, etc. price ranges I was younger and my parents did most of it so ya. I really have no clue how much board would cost. But I know this can be expensive. How much would you pay for board and a trailer?? Thanks! Oh I do have a job. I'm 14 and I'm getting another job so I'll have two lol!

  I would say spend some time working at a barn. Ask questions, watch and learn. Many of the questions you asked have so many different answers and ranges it is impossible for us to answer them without knowing your unique situation. Once you are working with a trainer, he or she can point you in the right direction for selecting a horse, style of riding, picking a boarding barn (if you won't be boarding at the trainers barn), selecting a trailer, and being sure you have all the necessary supplies of a responsible horse owner. The only other thing I will say is that until you have a lot of experience it is best to go to the tack shop to buy supplies because there are often very knowledgeable sales people that can help you decide what you need. Save shopping online until you know exactly what you need.
