How to get into drift racing?

How to start a career in racing?

  • I am currently 20 and live in a pretty small town. Since I was 16 and got my first car, I have been wanting to really get into racing but do not know where to really begin. I don't really have any experience unless you count going out and speeding or racing others whenever I can on the back roads around here. My main problem is I do not know where to begin or anything. I have heard there is a drift school and everything in California, but I don't have the money to pay for anything like that. I just want to do something professional. I am not really into the whole Nascar stuff and just doing left turns constantly. I know many people play a lot of racing games and **** and watch movies and want to get into it because of that, but I just have fun going out and doing it on the roads. I have told and been told about the only thing I can do right is drive so I figured, maybe it is time I try and actually do something I like to do instead of working my *** off at Walmart and getting no where in life. So if anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.
