Where can you start motorcross racing?

When are you "too old" to start racing?

  • I'm a big fan of racing, F1 and BTCC mainly, I'd love to be able to have a proper go at racing, with touring cars as probably my ultimate aim, I'd love to learn how to handle the car and develop some good racecraft. But at 20, and with no racing experience at all or even a driving licence, am I too old to start? I've only relatively recently taken a interest in racing last year and I look around me and see that most racers nowadays seem to have been racing since they were kids, in karts etc...and by 19 they already have loads of experience, they've even won championships already. If I started now, thinking about how long it would take to build up, would I already be at a huge disadvantage by the time I got to vaguely where I wanted?
