I want to lease a horse but my parents say no wut should i say?

Answer:
Emphasize the benefits of leasing a horse instead of owning one. Mention that it will show how responsible you can be... that you can go and ride and clean the stall and take care of the horse. That it will be good for you to get to ride extra instead of just in your lessons... and it will be cheaper than getting you extra lessons. And mention that if you lease the horse, it's a set period of time whereas if you bought a horse, you'd be stuck with it forever. Sometimes kids can "grow out" of something... but if you're leasing the horse, you're not stuck with it when you've grown out of it... you lease for 1 month (or whatever your time period is), then you're done with the horse and don't have to worry about it anymore. You can lease for a short time, then when you get busy, you can stop leasing until you have time again! Of course, kids sometimes forget the parents point of view. Leasing the horse might be out of your price range... kids usually don't think of all the bills... the mortgage, the utilities, the car payments, insurance... and parents are often very money-concerned. They'd rather have some extra money put away for an emergency instead of spending it all on this month's horse. I was a kid not too long ago so I know it's hard when you want something really badly and your parents say no, but having grown up a bit, I can understand where parents are coming from a bit more. Maybe you could offer to do extra chores around the house in exchange for leasing the horse. Make a bargain with your parents!

How old are you? Unfortunatley I would respect your parents decision and not go behind their back and do it. I remember being youg and thinking I new everything I am also a very spontaneous person so I make decions before thinking the whole issue through sometimes. What happens if you cant pay for the payment or default. are you binded by a contract to lease for certain period of time? I would think everything through and maybe make a list of pro's and con's and then present to your parents if you think you can make a pretty good case.

Become obsessed about horses and make sure your parents know. Go riding horses, eventually they may give in. If not, they may have good reasons not to lease a horse, so if you can find a solution to that problem, you have a better chance.
