Where are some horse jobs for kids?

• I've heard for some girl who works at the "Horse Races", she told me that any aged children can go work at horse places in Gawler, Adelaide. Where they can help with the horses such as; Pick up poop,Feed and give water to the horses, clean the stables, walk the horses, and even ride them! Also sometime on the weekends they take the kids or adults to the horse races and they stay with one horse or more all day until they race. Just staying with them, and getting them ready, and walking them. Apparently you can ride the horses. and you get paid for all these things. Does anyone know any places that does this. IN ADELAIDE? that would be great! also i need a number or website or something(: help would be much appreciated.

  well I worked at a miniature horse farm for 7 years starting when I was 12. I think that was a great experience for me because you gain this great wealth of knowledge about horse behavior, and also they are easier and safer for kids to work with because of their small size. the only down side is that you can't ride minis, but at the farm i worked at we also had two normal sized horses (i didn't ever actually ride them, but i'm just saying) look into miniature horse farms if you can, they teach you so much about horses as well as yourself :)
