What do you wear for horseback riding?

well if your not going to a show and just like going to a lesson or a joy ride I usually wear a black pair of riding pants and a tight shirt (for summer). and in winter or autumn or whenever its cold i wear a jacket. but if i'm going to a horse show I would wear a pair of riding pants. I would wear like my really really good pair. then a dress shirt with those like special formal jackets. With both of those outfits I wear my black knee-high riding boots with my knee length socks. and I also wear my black velvet helmet. hope I helped :)

It all depends on how ur riding? western riding all u really need to wear is jeans a good pair of boots and a shirt if ur not showing and usually if your riding english they wear more formalish clothing black tight pants tall riding boots and a tucked in shirt

Well first, this is for English. I don't ride western but I think you wear jeans, a shirt, boots, and gloves depending bon a horse. I wear tight black pants(for some reason my jeans get caught in the stirrup and rip even though they are tight) but I just got black breeches for the summer. Then either tall boots or short boots with half chaps, the gal chaps aren't necessary tho. Then a shirt, not too loose, and my helmet. If your just starting I would wear a rightish shirt, tight pants(if u had a jegging or a legging those are prob the best), a pair of boots(they can be from like pay less or target as long as theta have a small heel and look like riding boots for now) and they should give u a helmet until you buy one.
