What are good cross country bindings and boots?

What kind of boots should I get my horse for cross country?

I'm new to eventing and I'm going to my first mock trial in April, I need a breastplate, front and hind boots and any tips you got. lol! I'm not a beginner rider (15y/o advanced intermediate) but I am new to this particular leg of the riding sport. I went to a cross country schooling in September and decided I hated hunters and now I'm switching over lol. Any advice or tips or really anything I need to know would be great, but my primary question is what kind of boots (front and back) should I get? I have SMB Elites, but they don't fit my current mount. I was thinking Woof all purpose because obviously I have a budget limit and I still need a breastplate (which is $$$)
