How do i become a horse jockey?

hi, i just turned 16 im short and skinny and need a job. so i think i want to become a horse jockey. um i live in san antonio texas and we have a local race track call Retama park. i really think i could be good at this. so does anyone have any contacts or advice on who to talk to or what to do. thanks to anyone who replies to this. =)

I was Jockey for 20 years, rode in texas many years ago when there was just quarter horse racing in the state. Go to the track and find a job as a hot walker , groom etc. to learn about the horses first. pick as big a stable as you can to work and make your intentions known to the trainer. You have to earn it.
