Got any ideas for a name?

  • The mothers name is Suzie Cutely. The fathers name is St. Averil. Sometimes you combine the names or take parts of both for their racing name. Suzie's mom's name is Absolutely Cutely, so I came up with Absolutely Saintly. But, when you submitt the name to the jockey club you must submit 5 names and they pick it for us. Of course we get to come up with farm name that we call it. But, we are having troubles. It can also relate to farm name Kindred Spirit or Salisbury or MD or even just racing terms, etc. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I liked Bankruptcy, but it was taken. Kindred Spirit is also taken. Oh well.

What a shame that Absolutely Saintly was taken. I guess Absolute Saint would be too close and the jockey club would reject that, too. You didn't mention if your horse was a filly or a colt. But here are a couple of my suggestions. Absolute saint would not be too close, but is probably taken.. You can check out peddigreequery and check on names to see if they are taken in the last 10 years( ys some horses are not on there, but gives you beeter chances of knowing) Fancy Suzie St. Valay St. Suzie Suzie Kindred Gottobesuziecute-not sure if the limit is 14 or 16.. Cute as Suzie oh and post a pic of the foal when it is born!!

Here are some other ideas to add to everyone else's: Sun Lily - Suzie, derived from Suzanne, means lilies, and Averil can mean 'open to the sun'. Or maybe Lillies in April, since some lillies open to the sun in spring? Lily of the Knight - Going with the lily from Suzanne theme. Knight--> Templar --> Saint. . . Yeah, it's reaching, I know : ) Whisperoftheheart - I just thought of it when I read Kindred Spirit. Spiritoftheheart - Same as above. Faillite - one way of saying bankruptcy in French. Saint Suzanne - There actually was one. She was martyred, I think. Temporarily Broke - It's fun and can be taken a couple of ways Suzaveril - Yay for name combinations! Is that listed already?
