MSM feeding in horses?
-
I am thinking of feeding MSM to 2 of my show horses. Both are thoroughbreds (and both raced but retired sound)), one is 5 years old and his joints are constantly 'cracking' especially in his stable when he has been standing still for a while and moves off. He is very sound - never had a lame day since I got him, although he does get a sore back on occasion. The 2nd horse is 8 years old and his stifles have always gotten a bit 'stuck' but the last few days they are actually locking. Again, he is sound and in the 4 years I've had him he's never had a lame day. I thought it wouldn't hurt - so I guess my question is how much do I feed, and what results have people had with feeding this?

Answer:
its good stuff. buy whichever brand you want I use platinum performance join supps. all supplements are different which contain msm so follow package instructions. I start out with halfing the dosage to get their bellies used to it. It does help my horses but you wont see a noticeable difference for awhile
