Does anyone know of a good horse racing betting system that works?

please don't fall for any of these systems or tipsters they are`all a con! ask yourself if these people knew the winners would they tell you & i or be backing the winners themselves (with no one else knowing & thus getting better odds)& living on a carribean island! if you are only just starting watching/betting on horses please see my advice below. 1.only bet what you can afford to lose . 2.watch as much racing as possible. 3.go to the races as much as possible . 4. don't have a bet until you are confident in your knowledge/ability & i repeat only to small stakes. 5.read the form then read the form again. in my opinion the 3 biggest factors to take into account are the going,the distance& the horse's trainers form. if the any of these 3 is a negative i.e the horse doesn't like the going or distance then this horse can be ruled out & then study the form on the remaing horses again. 6,don't forget to enjoy yourself. we all know the only winner is the bookie etc but if you treat it as a hobby you'll be fine. friends of mine comment how much i spend at the races but then spend £40 every weekend to watch 22 soft,spoilt,overpaid footballers kick a piece of leather about!

Horses in the top 2 of Form Rating - The best readily available ratings are Formcast Daily Mail and Racing Post Ratings over the jumps 5. Pace - horses in Turf Handicaps - races up to 1 mile 1 furlong with a strong early pace in at least two of its last three starts One mantra that is ideal is sticking to horses in the first three of the betting forecast priced up to 15/2 and keeping stakes single win and on a level stakes plateau. all the best Pete

You would not sell a system which worked, you would operate it. If you are an original thinker you may find one but you would keep it private. Read Nick Mordin in the Weekender every week. He will give you plenty of ideas.

My pop always told me the only way you will win on a horse is if you collected up the poo and sold it for $2 a bag. Because the amount i have lost he maybe just right.
