Beginner Snowboarding Tips?

I am a beginner in snowboarding. need quality tips for buying boards and bindings.?

  • need tips to buy equipment for snowboarding. best shops in town etc

  • Answer:

For your board, go with something that allows experience growth. Don't get suckered into buying a "beginner board". You'll just waste your money. Secondly, size your board by how much you weigh and your height. I'm 5'2 and 115lb's so i ride a 143-148. The sales people will be able to help you with this too. Last, your boots should be snug, but allow room for your toes to wiggle, and your heel to lift a little. This way you won't cut off circulation. Well, Good Luck.

well dont buy crappy equipment, but not to expensive either. dont buy online because you dont realy get to feel it and stuff. your board should be about to your nose (unless you are realy tall). it should be a high quality board, like burton, lamar, ect. bindings should be very high quality because you dont want to fall going on a steep slope. flow bindings are very good so i suggest to look for those. if you do buy online ebay is ok. dont care on what your friends say. cya
