Snowboard recommendations?

I was wondering if anyone here could recommend a really good snowboard for a female beginner. Any price.

Answer:
Burton is one of the best brands for snowboards. They are very reliable. Many of the Olympic snowboarders use them. They have cool girl designs too. :)

Burton more so than any other company has been putting a lot of development into their female lines. They are receiving al lot of rider input from their female pros. Without knowing what type of riding your doing, I would probably recommend the Burton Troop as a good beginner board. Relatively inexpensive, well built, nice design, etc. The Troop is a forgiving board, not to stiff, and not to soft. Granted this will drastically differ based on your height and weight. If Burton doesn't strike your fancy, I know Ride has a fairly good female line as well. Many female riders I know are rocking Ride this year.

Definitely Burton I have a Burton Blunt and love it to death. It is extremely durable. Burton boards are so much better than the others it really isn't fair. Plus Burton also has the best accesories for their boards to. You should definitely get a Burton. All Burton boards are great.

As you would know it the people say Burton is the best.Sorry folks your wrong, how can a massed produced board made in China be the best board to buy.It can't,there is no way.The Pro's who ride Burton boards do it not for the quality but for the money. The brand of board you ride does not make you a Pro.The best boards made with out a question is the ones from NeverSummer. They are built in small numbers by hand by Americans who ride for the passion not the money.NeverSummer is in Denver Colorado you can reach them at neversummer.com or (303)320-1813.The kind folks there will tell you where you nearest dealer is or they can send you one out. They are the best check them out I'm sure you will be pleased.

Personally i have been snowboarding for 8 years and I was started on a 5150 and a Burton and I wouldn't recommend those for a beginner because of the fact that they are made to either go fast or do tricks, both which you wont be doing as a beginner. For you i would probably recommend a Never Summer Evo, my reason being that never summer's are built to last and they are easy to learn on and once you start getting better the board will be able to take anything you throw at it. Trust me i have one and they really do wrap around trees and they are indestructible. Good Luck In Your Search!!

Before buying, rent some boards, borrow some boards... To be honest, any board will do if you are beginning. Take lessons, the first three times are painful, but you will get better quickly. Play around with your binding settings. Try to ride with someone who understands bindings and problems. Borrow their board...look what other beginners are riding. Eventually you will find the board that fits you. Some boards are too stiff... others too flexible...so far as designs? use stickers to personalize your board. If at all possible avoid riding on hard pack. Powder is much easier and more forgiving. Don't spend a lot on your first board. Spend more on good snowboard boots. To be honest, I have no idea what boards I ride...I break equipment too much. I know I have a fish, but who makes it... I don't know.

don't be influecend too much by brands and the colour of the board. check some sites like this one (it's german but i guess you will find your way around) http://www.snowboardguide.de/cgi-bin/adframe/index_start.html?id=10998406832122541807019821 since you said price is not matter, even if many boards are rather highly priced, get a good one and not a cheap one, it will last longer, the fun and the board

I just got a Burton feather snowboard. Burton is a really good snowboard brand. Shaun and Hannah used a Burton board in the Olympics. I got my board for $199.00 on sale...it's normaly $350.00 I haven't used the board yet, so I can't say if it's the best board ever...lol but i know that Burton is pretty reliable. I'd give it a try. Good luck.
