Has there been an atheist royal family in history?

Can you explain to me about Queen of England and how the Royal family history?

  • Why Queen is important, more so than KING ? any detail about the Royal family history of England please ?

  • Answer:

This is not a question about importance, but SUCCESSION.There is a QUEEN REGNANT who reigns the UNITED KINGDOM of Great Britain(England, Scotland and Wales), Northern Ireland and 15 other Commonwealth Realms. Elizabeth II was HEIR to the throne of her father, George VI. George VI had two daughters and the elder of the two inherited the job. When there is a Queen REGNANT reigning over the realms, there can be no kings. The United Kingdom does not use the title of "king consort" for the husband of a reigning queen. The spouse of the queen is a consort. When Elizabeth II dies, her heir is her son, Charles. When Charles dies, or even of he predeceases his mother, his heir, William will also be king. Men do not assume titles and stylings of their wives; they have their own. A spouse of a Queen Regnant is, again, called a consort. The present consort is Philip.Philip is a royal prince by birth(Denmark and Greece);he gave up his foreign titles and was given British ones, first by his father-in-law who made him a royal duke, then by his wife who restored his princely title with a British one: Philip is Prince Philip,Duke of Edinburgh,Earl Merioneth,Baron Greenwich. Philip and Elizabeth are third cousins,he is in the bloodline, but Philip was not the heir to the throne;his wife was heir to her father,George VI,and assumed the throne upon his death.Philip was way down the line of succession and never had a chance at inheriting. The Royals of the UK have an official website where you can read about them and the history of the monarchy. You need to to the research yourself in order to learn! http://www.royal.gov.uk/ Diamond is the symbol for any 60th anniversary. The Queen has reigned for 60 years. You need to learn about the concept of anniversaries and symbols for each year. Title names come from various places in the UK. Edinburgh is in Scotland, Gloucester in England. There often is an historical precedent behind the titles-- in history other royals have born that designation and it has become traditional for royal family members to bear the titles. The first royal dukes may have had political roles in running tracts of land in name of the monarch in duchies that were named Gloucester, York, and so on...

Queen of the UK, not England...the last Queen of England passed away nearly 300 years ago. The Queen of the UK was the daughter of the last king. There IS no king of the UK, for that reason. The Queen, being the one with the power, can't have a king, as HE would have power... Diamond Jubillee - it's what you call a 60th anniversary. Prince of Wales - go back to sixth grade history for that one. Do some review. Duke of Edinburgh - Edinburgh is the capital of Scotland. That's where the title comes from. Glouster is also a Duchy in the UK. All titles come from the Middle Ages, from the socio-economic system that was Feudalism. It has its roots in the Roman Empire, the roots of that system were in the Ancient Greek socio-economic system...and so on.

There is no queen of England. The Queen of the United Kingdom is the monarch hence the most important their is no king at the moment. Diamond Jubilee- Diamonds are associated with a 60th anniversary of something. Jubilee comes from the word jubilation which means to celebrate and be happy.

Since 1066, when a king died, his eldest son took over as king. If there are no sons, then, the eldest daughter, although that did not happen too often. When it did, the Queen is Queen Regent, meaning she has the power. A King's wife is also called Queen, but, she is a Queen Consort, and has no political power at all. Queen Consort is sort of like saying "Mrs King." In the UK, a woman takes the man's name (and titles, if any), but, it doesn't work the other way round. So, a man marrying a Queen gets nothing at all, unless it is specifically given to him. Which it usually is. But, had the current Queen's father not created Philip a Duke, (and the Queen later made him a prince), he would be a plain Mister. The Queen's Consort (i.e. husband) can't be called King, as kings outrank queens, and he would not be entitled to rule anyway. In the 1200's, England took over Wales, which had been a principality - i.e., led by a prince, instead of a king. To appeased the now conquered people, the English King made his son Prince of Wales. Since then, male heirs to the throne have always been invested as Prince of Wales. It is not automatic - they have to be specifically created each time. But, they always are. The Duke of Edinburgh was the title give by the then king to Philip, when he married the then Princess Elizabeth. He had given up his previous titles (Prince of Greece, and Denmark), and had nothing, until the King granted him the new title. Royal princes are actually commoners until they are given a title, which is usually Duke - the highest one, although Edward is an Earl, which is lower down.

She won the title on "who wants to be a queen" it was a London show in the 1940's. She had a retarded brother who was a chubby chaser, he just LOVED to *** really fat women! So they called him the Prince of Whales!!! Because the bigger the better for him, he was killed in 1971 behind a walmart in Detroit while doing a lady named Watusi Jenkins, a 520 pound welfare queen who wrapped her legs around his narrow azz, and his head popped off! A Jewish man in London named Billy, sold fake Chinese diamonds to the queen, so she found out and called in the frigging cops... They set up a secret sting called "Diamond Jew Billy" and when they caught him sucking a pickled herring and having a bagel in front of Harrods, they asked him to get in the cop car to attend the queens Diamond Jubilee!!!! And he was delighted! But they castrated him instead and told him to stop selling this chit to people.

The firstborn child of a king or queen becomes the next king or queen. Since the previous king only had daughters, his eldest daughter became queen. Being the firstborn child of the sovereign is what's important, not their gender.
