    The advice given by the previous poster is sound; send a hand-written letter to Her Majesty's office; if possible, include petition from the people and/or organizations in Gibraltar. This said, I doubt the Queen will visit Gibraltar. While I have no doubts Her Majesty and the Duke of Edinburgh would like to pay a visit, they will likely be strongly advised by the Government to avoid doing so not to upset the Spanish Government.

Why don't you send this to Buckingham Palace? Send her a hand-written letter, saying exactly what you're posting here (but please write it by hand). Collect signatures in Gibraltar. I can tell you she and the Duke of Edinburgh will be ever so pleased to visit Gibraltar. Especially Prince Philip who loves everything that's got to do with history war and battle ships. No joke.

I know only too well the loyalty of the good people of the rock to HM. I lived in Gibraltar in the Euro tower apartments 1993 to 1994. I have been back one since. The wonderful advantage is everyone speaks English and the pound is used like here. The police men are the same as ours.women too.Ita a wonderfull Britain in the sun, As have been said writing to the Queen is a good idea. Ask for a visit durung her jubilee year. The concerns of Spain must be ignored.
