Has there been an atheist royal family in history?

How do the children in the royal family learn about their family history?

  • are they given private talks as children about the history of royalty in Briton or do they learn through school the same as normal kids

  • Answer:

They would surely learn both through discussions with their family members and at school. In fact, they would be getting a double dose of this information, since most of us learn our family histories ONLY from our relatives. We can't pick up a textbook and learn about what our many-times-great grandfather did centuries ago. I imagine that, as with all people, some royals are more interested in these matters than others. The Queen is said to have started having tea with Prince William when he was small and showing him interesting documents from the Royal Archives, so that he could get a sense of how his ancestors had functioned in this or that situation.
