Income Tax Questions and Help!!?
-
I am married and currently working part time only. My husband is not working right now. We dont have any kids. How can I get the most out of my income tax with only me working at this time, and only me filling an income tax? I am new to all this income tax preparation. I have never filled before. I started working the first week of Jan 09 so this will be the first time I fill my income tax. Any help and advise would be helpful!!! Thanks!!!

Answer:
Sounds like married filing jointly would be your best bet. Try one of the free on-line tax preparations from the irs.gov website. They are programmed to calculate the best return and you just fill in what they ask for.
