I have my business name, have my tax ID but I need the business documents, the business is based in Connecticut and I need the documents, the business does no longer operate and it’s a business few years behind, anywhere I could look it up online and download my documents?

Answer:
What documents are you talking about? If you are talking about tax returns, the information you need is from YOUR records. The IRS and the state both required you to keep accurate records. If you don't, you can expect an audit to do a bank deposit analysis. Any money coming in will be income to the business and any expense will be disallowed if the invoices cannot be found. IF you incorporated and you need copies of articles of incorporation, contact the state.
