When is the deadline for paying the income tax in France?

Do you have to report income before 2010 taxes are due?

• I live in a rural city in NE Ohio. This is still having me question why I left PA! I never, ever prepaid my taxes before filing them in my home state of PA. I paid my city tax and filed them before the usual April 15th deadline. We got a letter from our city tax department wondering we hadn't prepaid of our taxes for 2010. Well, number one, it isn't 2011 and the tax isn't due until April 15, 2011! My husband works in another town and when we file our city taxes then the other town is suppose to pay the taxes he had deducted from his paycheck. Our town wants us to tell them our projected income for 2010. I can give them the information but I'm not paying for taxes that we have already paid for through my husband's job. Does anyone else ever have this happen to them? I've been working since 1988 and can't remember prepaying for my local or city tax until the following year. I know Ohio does things different but not this way. Thanks

  People who are self-employed have been doing that for years, sending in estimated tax payments. BTW, what exactly is a "rural city"?
