Turbo Tax question about receiving State Refund after Federal?

• I filed my taxes through Turbo Tax. I was told I would get a certain return amount from the federal taxes I paid and a separate amount from my state taxes paid. These were 2 separate numbers. I assumed I would get 2 separate returns. Now I am starting to wonder if my state refund was part of my federal refund. This is the first time I've done state taxes. Prior years I lived in Texas where they don't have state taxes. Anyway.. I filed taxes on the 2nd. My federal was accepted on the 3rd and my state was accepted on the 4th. I received my federal refund on the 14th but I have yet to receive my state refund. Will I receive the state refund or was it part of the federal refund? At what point should I start to worry and call Turbo Tax?

  It is not part of your federal refund. They are on different systems and schedules. Be patient and it will get there. Good luck!
