There, I have a small print shop. One of my clients (performing arts business) asked me to print brochures for her and told me that she did not have to pay the PST,once she supplied the tax exemption certificate (in Ontario) or filled out the retail tax exemption form (in Ontario). Is that true? Please help! Thanks

Yes, if a customer supplies a properly filled out tax exemption certificate, they are free from PST. You need to keep the form in your files in case the PST people ask for it. She still pays GST, nobody is exempt from that.
