    If you go to the Quick Tax website you can actually prepare your taxes online and it will give you an estimate of your return. Don't worry though, you don't actually have to pay unless you choose to e-file your return. I usually "do my taxes" this way but then go in and have them done and get a refund right away and at least I already have an estimate of what I will get back. It will also give you an estimate of your GST rebate as well as an estimate for your monthly Child Tax.

First off, you did not say if you would be filing Canadian tax return. Secondly, if Canadian you did not say which province you lived in as this affects how much taxes you have to pay or get back. All I can suggest is go to a tax preparer in your area, and get a draft return prepared. This will give you the information you need.
