Am I entitled to holiday pay that starts over in september when i am quitting at the end of september?

    Holiday pay is generally pro-rated. If you have 3 weeks vacation per year and you worked 1 month then you will get 1/12 of 3 weeks pay. Even in that example it is only 10 hours of pay. 1/12 * 3 weeks * 40 hours / week = 10 hours.

Chances are, your boss doesn't owe you anything. You probably signed an employment agreement or some type of "At-Will" understanding when you started. Whether you realize it or not. But if it's a big enough company, HR will give you what you're required to get and nothing more. If it's a small one, who knows. Read what you signed.
