I need an accountant in Canada?

  • Hi, I need not any accountant but the best accountant in Canada. I am willing to pay alot it wont matter on the price. Any ideas how I can go about finding the best accountant in Canada? Thanks to all of you at the Yahoo Answers Community!!

    basically 3 cities to choose from. Toronto, Calgary, and Vancouver. those are the ones with the most cash going through them and where you will find the people that look after it. how to recommend one? i do not know but where the big money is you will find the best. also tuesdays and thursdays are hockey nights so you may want to check out the local arenas.

What do require an accountant for? Are you looking for bookkeeping services, audit service, tax advice, management consulting, valuation, etc. Any large public accounting firm would provide all of the above. I would recommend you only deal with an accountant that has a professional designation (CA, CGA, CMA). I personally work for a mid size firm in Toronto which I have not listed but the people are just as knowledgeable and competent as any other firm. Hope this gets you looking in the right direction.
