I have the totals paid for things, I need to know how much of the total is the 7 percent tax that has been add

Answer:
Remember the GST rate reduction this year, so it may not all be 7% tax. If the amount only had GST paid on it, then; Total X 7 / 107 if paid prior to July 1 Total X 6 / 106 if after June 30th However, if you paid PST on it then that won't work. You need to: Total / (1 + (.07 + PST rate)) X .07 Replace .06 for the .07 if expenses occured after the GST Rate reduction. You can manipulate the math a few other ways as well. Good luck!
