What happens with cheques?

ok, lets say- im 17 and i sign up to a betting website and its only for 18+ and i take some money and get it exchange to Ukash ( where i get voucher for my money and use it on most websites) and put it on the betting website and i win a sum amount and i get a cheque through the post and i want to open a bank account with this cheque, will the bank do background check with it E.g. age that i sign up with the betting company?

There are plenty of banks that don't require a deposit when you open an account. They're usually pretty happy to take your money, regardless of the source.

It's unlikely the bank will do a background check on the cheque. However, to avoid even this possibility, just open the account ahead of time. Then deposit the cheque at your leisure.
