If im canadian,and i can get duel citizenship bevause of my mom whos from usa,does that mean i pay more taxes?

Depends wich country you live if you live in Canada you go by the Canadian Tax Laws and if you live in America you go bye there tax laws? Dual gives you the option to live and work in one or the other

I don't believe so, you pay taxes based on what state you worked in and where you reside in. So for instance if you worked in New Jersey, but your address is in New York. You would pay both taxes. But if you live and work in New York then you would only pay New York taxes.
