What is the Income tax exemption limit in Ontario?

• What is the income limit for which you don't have to declare in your income tax return? I only earned a bit over $7000 as a self-employed last year but I'm unsure if I have to declare it or not. I know there is a limit on the amount you don't have to declare but I can't find this info anywhere. Does anyone know what's the limit? Thanks.

  You have to declare all of your income on your return. You're likely to not have to pay taxes on that amount, but you still are required to declare it.
