PAYE (Pay As You Earn) is deducted from your wages before you get it whether you are paid weekly, fortnightly or monthly. The rates are as follows: Up to $14,000 - 12.5 cents per dollar $14,001 to $40,000 - 21 cents per dollar $40,001 to $70,000 - 33 cents per dollar $70,001 and over - 39 cents per dollar
