Are donations tax deductible in Australia?
-
I'm in a pageant and looking for sponsors. A man emailed me from Australia, asking if donations are tax deductible for Australians. I'm from California, and neither me nor my pageant director has a clue.

donations are only deductable for an authorised charity, so I would think that he would not be able to claim if he sponsors you
