• Hello I read that I could claim on petrol for work-related expenses. Is that for everyone? I don't operate a business nor am I self-employed. I do however go to work as an employee and do fill up my car with petrol. Does that mean I can claim on car expenses such as fuel costs and car repairs? Ben

  you can if your drive as part of your job this does not include driving to and from work just driving in your actual work hours you would also need to log your kms on the start and finish of your trip and keep receipts check out the tax department for more info
