i didnt get given a tax form to fill out when i started my new job. i have since stopped working there and i did pay tax during my time there...what will happen with my tax?

Answer:
If you paid tax on any income earnt between 1 July 2010 and 30 June 2011, you will get back any appropriate overpayment when you do your tax return. Generally if you didn't fill in a form to claim the tax free threshold, you paid too much tax and you will get a refund. You can only claim the tax free threshold with one employer ie if you have 2 jobs, you can only lodge one form. If any income was paid after 1 July 2011 (and tax taken out), then that's next years tax return.
