  • is this scam? I recieved an offer from Mr. Magu Wahels that I will be the private Nurse of his wife whom having a cancer and then he willl shoulder all the payments in processing and now the UK border agency send me an email letter containing the application form and required me to pay 800 GBP in western union sending to my nane as welll but they need the reciept from western union and my sacanned passport ID. I am afraid this is scam.

Scam, the Border Agency does not accept Western Union, you have to pay in cash or credit card when you go in person to the embassy in your country. And that is not the Home Office email. The correct email is [email protected] if it's not from @ukba.gsi.gov.uk it's not from the Border Agency You dont ever contact the Border Agency, the employer does that. You have to contact the British embassy or High Commission in your country to turn in your passport in person, you never send a scanned copy, and no money is paid before you go in for your visa appointment
