Depends on the organisation - at a guess I would say about 5p - just enough so they can get away with saying "exceeds national minimum wage". If you expect minimum wage at least you won't be disappointed. It may even mean, minimum wage plus bonuses / benefits etc.

It just means the wages are more than the national minimum wage - but it doesn't mean it could be loads more than the minimum wage. It could only be one penny more and they could still say this. Probably just a way to get people to apply for the job. I hate when I see job adverts like this. They should be more upfront with the hourly rate.

national minimum wage is something like $5.85 or thereabouts. So, it could mean $5.90 or anything. Call the company and ask what their hourly rate is.
