How do i know i can get my money back after returning an item on ebay?

i bought a memory stick from ebay last month and i just found out today that its fake one. i contacted the seller if i can return the item and he said he'll give me a full refund to my paypal after he receive the item. he also said "Just don’t forget to put your eBay user ID inside the envelope because I need to know who to pay." but how do i know i can get my money back?
Answer:

You will get your money back as long as you take a picture of the item in the box and a picture of the shipping label. when you send it to that person they will send you the full refund and if they don't just file a complaint with the police and they will arrest him!! P.S. Make sure you get a picture when you go to the Fed Ex or UPS store wtht there thing that says how much you payed, AND KEEP THE RECITE!!!!
