Flexiable working hour after maternity leave uk?

• Hi All I'm wondering if you can help I am currently on maternity leave from my job as cabin crew on a contract of 6 on 3 off consisting of 3earlies and 3 lates. I have applied for flexiable working hours requesting fixed days of wed thru to sat, due back in June (so 4months notice) I have had a reply from my manager stating that the company is unable to give a definite responce at the moment as they are currently reviewing part time option however we have two options available: 2 weeks on (any hours they need me) 2 weeks off or 1month on (any hours again) 1month off. Obviously this is unsuitable as child care etc also I need to get this sorted before my return as I need to arrange child care. Can anyone give me advice and do I have rights etc?   You do have rights and you should consult at your local CAB. Having a baby is a blessing and can be a challenge to. I have children and a 5mth old baby. I also know the pain of losing a baby and have a disabled child. Spending time with my kids comes first I do any work that allows me to do this and not need childcare apart from the odd occassion I may want to go out then I can ask close friends and family. I thought that all parents were entitled to flexible working.
