I get paid on the last Friday of every month. when will I get paid this Easter? (UK)?
-
This month the last Friday is a bank hol (Royal Wedding) so will I get paid the day before or the Friday before? Thanks.

Answer:
Different for every business - it depends how their cash flow works - If they have the money available then they may give it to you early if you ask, if they don't it will be the last working day before that friday (thursday?)

A radical suggestion - but try asking your employer for the correct answer. Lots of people will give answers based upon what they think but only your employer can tell you exactly what will happen

The norm is that your pay must be in your bank by the last friday in the month so your employer will pay you by close of bank business on the thursday.

Your terms of employment should tell you what happens when payday falls on a bank holiday. If not, ask your employer
