EBay help? Shipping/handling from the USA to UK? Clothing items?

• Can someone explain how I do this? I want to start selling items to the UK and Idk anything about postal charges or anything. I want to keep shipping charges for the buyer as low as possible. Idk anything about customs charges either. The items are T-shirts. I'm selling them for .99 pounds each. But Idk what the shipping will be. Normally it takes about $3 plus or minus to ship anywhere in the USA, but what do I do about custom taxes and everything about shipping there? I think the local post office is a USPS or UPS. Does shipping to Ireland cost more to ship to than say London?

  The shipping will depend on what YOUR country charges! Every country has their own prices depending on weight and dimensions, therefore, what the UK charges will be different the what the USA charges. You will have to find out from your country what each postal services charges for the weight of the clothing! Remember, while you may be selling and shipping TO the UK, YOU are IN the USA so you need to find out how much it will be FROM your country to another country! As for customs and taxes, YOU are not IN the UK and therefore will not pay UK taxes, only USA ones and the person getting the items will have to look up import duty charges from the UK import website. Just make it clear you are not responsible for UK import duty as YOU are IN another country!
