When you sign off the dole, do you get a P45?

Is it a p45 or p46 or p60 i need to sign?

  • i'm in still in full time education and have a job where i am contracted to work only 4hours (and therefore do not get taxed) .i got another job for more hours ,so wit my new employer do i need to sign a new p45 a p60 or a p46

  • Answer:

A P60 is a summary of earnings from your employer for a tax year and they give it to you after the tax year is finished and is not relevant to your situation. A P45 is given to when you cease employment which again is not relevant. You will need to complete a P46 for your new employer as you are unable to provide a P45.
