do accountants(not bookkeepers) just fill out statements, is that what people pay them for?
-
Answer:
Bookkeepers just produce accounts from the paperwork you give them. Your accountant advises you about what paperwork you need to keep, about VAT, what expenses are tax deductible, how to organise major purchases to avoid unnecessary tax and saves you far more money than you pay him. If you do not know what an accountant does that proves how much you need one.
