-
i need to claim a tax refund for the tax i have already paid. I have filed out P45's at my previous jobs, and i now have my NI number. So how do i claim tax refunds on the taxes paid before i had my NI number?
-
Answer:
You couldn't have paid tax before you had a NINO as your employer would need it for his tax records. Contact your PAYE office (ref on P45) and ask for a tax return for 2007/08 and complete the employment section(s).
