Will i get my refund by the 3rd?

Am I the only one loosing my mind trying to figure out when I will get my refund?

  • Ok so I filed on 01/19/09 accepted by the IRS 01/21/09, 1st refund date changed from Feb 3rd to the 10th. From what I hear the people that were scheduled for the 10th got thier refund on Feb 6th mine still says the 10th which is tomorrow.. I am really doubting I will get my refund tomorrow but am now wondering if it should come this friday? I called the IRS they say I had an error which was corrected in-house.. Is anyone else going through what I am ?

    My experience you will get if in your account on Friday. It has always been 3 weeks from the time I file. But on a friday. I use H & R Block to file...this is my experience with them.

Just updating.. My refund did indeed come in on 2/10 just as WMR said it would. I hope everyone else gets their refund soon too. Good luck everyone! Lol. I just asked a question similar to this because I too, am still scheduled for tomorrow, and couldn't find anyone else that was, so I was getting very nervous over it! Most all I seen said they were changed to the 6th, but mine still says the 10th. I do hope we both get them tomorrow! I can tell you that they do indeed send them on any day they want, because my son got his on last Wednesday and my friend got his last Tuesday. I heard they are using two systems this year. The old one which is handling the harder returns, and batch sending them (along with some easier ones) on Fridays, and the new system, which is handling only the easier returns such as 1040EZ and 1040A and can send them on any day it chooses. Let's hope the info is right! I will add this: I've yet to find anyone who had an exact DD date not get theirs by that date! So that's good news, I think? Lol. Good luck! Be sure to let us know. I filed on Jan. 27 and got my federal refund on the 6th.

I filed on 1/30 and haven't gotten mine yet. Last year I got my refund the following week, but no luck this year. Good luck to you - I hope you get yours soon! :)

Just chill out, and it will be there. don't get so excited. This is nothing to worry about. What is a day or two. Did Quito threaten to break your face or something.

I am in the same boat. I asked a similar question as well. Mine still says processing and you should receive it by 2/10 if there are no processing delays. You should def get it this week though. If not, the IRS call center seems really helpful. Call them and see if they can give you any further information.

I had an actual dd date of 02/06 it still says my refund was dd on 02/06. Guess what? no money This year it is really hard to tell with the IRS. so mnay people have had returns pulled for review, dates pushed back. It is just madness. I am glad for the people who were lucky enough to get their money and feel for all of us folks who are still waiting. Good luck
