How much does an accountant get paid?

i would like to start off now trying to figure out how much does an accountant get paid because when i graduate and go off to college i plan to be an accountant and thats what my goal is

Depends on where you live and work. Different areas offer different $$'s and different firms/companies will offer different amounts of $$'s for the same job. For example you can start a job at a large accounting firm in the NYC area making over 50K, but maybe only slightly over 40K in upstate NY. There are many factors that will go into what you can make.
